The development of Tehri Lake is expected to significantly increase tourism in the state of Uttarakhand. To draw visitors from throughout the nation, the state administration is also planning to build a cutting-edge water adventure sport facility near the Tehri lake. The state government would issue tenders for the ring road’s construction following the feasibility study. “Road enlargement, beautification, and the tying together of the region’s existing roadways are all expected to form part of the main plan.
The feasibility assessment would examine all factors, including the flow of traffic, the road’s carrying capacity, and potential for tourism” Mangesh Ghildiyal, a district magistrate, stated.
The DPR for the Ring Road has also been produced by the relevant department. The ring road’s development will cost Rs 335 crore.
Tehri Lake is spread over an area of 42 square kms, on whose banks a 234.6 km long ring road will be built.
